Since 1884, Christian Care has focused on the spiritual growth and the positive difference it makes in the quality of life for those in our care. Sometimes life changes and circumstances can result in feelings of isolation and grief. It is during this time that our Chaplains can be most helpful with comfort, prayers, support and a friend through life’s journey. Chaplains meet residents and family members where they are in that journey and listen to concerns with compassion and acceptance.
Residents are encouraged to engage frequently with community spiritual celebrations and religious services to enhance well-being and ease life transitions. Living your faith at Christian Care Communities includes:
- Chaplains to guide prayers
- Devotions and scripture study
- Comfort and support for families including hospital visitation
- Chapel services, celebrations and singing programs
- Life-plan counseling
